2018 has certainly brought a lot of change and developments at The HERD, and I want to take a moment to offer my appreciation to you all for your love and support throughout our transitions. I am deeply grateful for the community we are building together, and so proud of the work that our students and graduates are bringing out to their own communities. A quick look at our membership list reveals that we now have HERD members spanning 4 countries and 28 States. Client populations served range from corporate leadership teams, elderly care, at-risk adolescents, survivors of human trafficking, first responders, active military and veterans, as well as individuals with ADHD, Autism, eating disorders, trauma, PTSD, addiction, and families struggling with suicide, bullying, and mental health challenges.
That’s a whole lot of impact!
As our community has grown, we have also developed as an organization. Our recent move to Orlando, Florida has brought with it new challenges as well as new opportunities. Expanding our faculty team has meant that we are now able to offer more workshops in more locations, both in the USA and internationally. We are looking ahead to 2019 to the launch of our UK EFL Level One Certification, as well as our USA EFL Level Two Certification. This has been in response to those of you who have been asking for more opportunities to develop your skills, and would not be possible without our faculty members’ commitment to our vision, and your dedication to furthering your practice.
As this year draws to a close, I want to thank you all for helping me to make my dreams a reality. The joys of working with horses every day is a privilege I do not take for granted, and witnessing personal growth with the help of my herd is always an honor. None of this would be possible without you all. For all this, I am deeply grateful.
Wishing you all a happy, healthy, and harmonious holiday season, and a joyful new year!
